Although One Direction fans do not represent all teenagers, they are a sub-culture (all connected by the same band) that are seen as folk devils, and the Daily Mail have done this by comparing them to the teenage girls that have been reported to join ISIS, inevitably resulting in a negative and over-exaggerated representation of teenagers.
